Extended evening opening hours at 5 museums in Higashi-chaya district
The following five facilities in Higashiyama-chaya district will all extend their evening opening hours as follows.
In order to offer Kanazawa’s cultural tourism in the evening during the summer and early autumn, museums and art galleries will extend their opening hours and various events will take place.

Tearooms in Tents 2015
In the green garden of Nakamura Commemorate Art Gallery, tents with tearooms inside will be set up.
Date/Time: Friday 25th September, 18:00 to 20:00 (15 minutes per ceremony) *subject to cancellation in the event of rain
Capacity: Up to 3 people per ceremony
Admission fee: 300 yen (Free only to look around the tearoom tents)
Night time special Opening ‘Calmness and Light’
Suzuki Daisetsu Museum will commemorate its 4th anniversary since inauguration and open with free admission at night. Please enjoy its illuminations arranged by Yoshio Taniguchi, an internationally renowned architect.
